Determine the best planting time

Although it can be planted in spring and autumn, the temperature required for rooting and germination of winter jujube seedlings is higher, and the germination of winter jujube seedlings is late. In actual production, autumn planting is not recommended, and spring planting is the main. Under the same conditions, transplanting in the spring germination period, the survival rate can be as high as 90% or more. In the northern region, from late February to early May (temperature above 18 °C), because the sap has flowed, the winter jujube seedlings begin to grow, the injured roots are easy to regenerate, and the underground nutrients can be transported to the ground in time for easy survival. If the spring is planted early, the winter jujube seedlings will lose too much water, and the root system will be difficult to replenish, affecting the survival.

Seedling

The seedlings of winter jujube are seedlings, and it is required to excavate the seedlings (planing seedlings). It is not the "starting" seedlings and "other" seedlings, ensuring that the root phloem and xylem are not broken, the roots are not torn, and the main lateral root phloem is intact without damage. The main root is 30-35cm long and the lateral roots are intact, with as many fine roots as possible. Start digging 30-35cm from the roots of jujube seedlings, deep 35-40cm, at least three sides, and dig straight. Dip the roots and soak the roots.

Packaging

The transportation distance within one day can be omitted. Otherwise, it should be well packaged. Planting in time

It is required that the winter jujube seedlings root seedlings with 15-20 cm of mother roots and all fibrous roots are planted in the nursery with the plant spacing of 20-25 cm and the row spacing of 60-100 cm. Do not touch the roots and jujube branches of winter jujube seedlings during transportation.
